OYSAA Enhances Enforcement Protocols for Signage and Billboard Regulation.

In its continuous commitment to uphold the highest standards in the management and regulation of signages and billboards, the Oyo State Signage and Advertisement Agency (OYSAA) is taking significant steps to reinforce its enforcement procedures. This initiative is part of OYSAA’s ongoing efforts to address the challenges posed by rogue practitioners, derelict/sub-standard signages, billboards, and defaulters within the State.

Understanding the importance of visibility and identification in effective enforcement, OYSAA’s Enforcement Department is being equipped with branded high-visibility (hi-vis) jackets and caps. This enhancement is not just a step towards increased safety for the enforcement team but also a measure to ensure the agency’s presence is unmistakable during enforcement operations.

The re-introduction of OYSAA branded hi-vis jackets and caps is a strategic decision to empower the agency’s enforcement team to execute their mandate more efficiently. This move aligns with OYSAA’s vision to create a more orderly and aesthetically pleasing environment through the proper regulation of outdoor advertisement structures.

OYSAA’s enhanced enforcement protocol includes rigorous monitoring and the prompt addressing of issues related to non-compliant and hazardous signages and billboards. This action underscores OYSAA’s commitment to ensuring compliance with established guidelines and the safety of our citizenry.

OYSAA appreciates the support and cooperation of all stakeholders, including practitioners, property owners, and the general public, as the agency enforce these standards. The agency is dedicated to fostering a collaborative approach in the  regulation of outdoor advertisement and signage, ensuring a balance between commercial interests and public safety.
